Juvederm, Restylane/Perlane is an injectable gel made of (non-animal) hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in the body.
It is an excellent filler used for smoothing out fine lines, wrinkles and especially for lip enhancement.
Since the product is non-allergenic, pretesting is not required.
Results last up to six months; however the effect is longer with the Mini Non-Surgical Cheek Lift wherein the product lasts nine to twelve months.

ANSWER: Filler is injected directly into the skin using a fine needle to reduce injection discomfort. Juvederm® is available with pain-reducing lidocaine. Restylane and Perlane administered to sensitive areas such as the upper lip may begin with a dental block which is freezing the mouth area thereby providing a comfortable experience.
QUESTION: What are the possible side effects of filler?
ANSWER: Filler is generally well tolerated. Possible side effects are mild to moderate and are relatively short lasting less than seven days. These may include temporary skin reactions such as redness, tenderness and bruising which may be covered with light makeup.
QUESTION: What is the recovery time following a filler treatment?
ANSWER: The treatment requires minimal downtime. Most people return to their normal routines immediately.
