Injectable Fillers
Botox Cosmetic™ is a simple, non-surgical and safe way to help smooth out frown lines in minutes. It is an injectable treatment derived from purified protein administered to relax muscles that create dynamic wrinkles such as glabellar (frown lines) between the eyebrows. As the muscle relaxes the dynamic wrinkles overlying the muscle is smoothed away. Because the treatment only relaxes the muscle beneath the frown line at the injection site other elements of facial expression remain active and natural looking.
Each treatment lasts approximately 3-4 months at which time another injection is required. After several treatments, the effects of Botox Cosmetic™ may begin to last longer. Because the needle is so fine and only a small amount of liquid is used, the discomfort associated with injections is minimal thus no sedation or local anesthetic is required. You can even drive yourself home or back to the office. Some patients experience a slight temporary bruising at the injection site, which can be concealed with makeup.

Injectable Fillers
Restylane/Perlane is an injectable gel made of (non-animal) hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in the body. It is an excellent filler used for smoothing out fine lines, wrinkles and especially for lip enhancement. Since the product is non-allergenic, pretesting is not required. Results lasts up to six months.
Artecoll is the latest treatment for the long-term correction of wrinkles and other facial imperfections due to aging and acne scarring. Consisting of tiny microspheres suspended in a collagen solution, Artecoll is injected into desired areas, filling in lines and depressions, plumping up skin to a youthful contour. Since it stimulates the body’s own natural collagen formation, the effects are long-lasting and durable.
